Our Story Behind Redbird Ridge Estate

Some places are chosen. Others feel like they choose you.

For Daron and Alisa, Redbird Ridge Estate isn’t just land, it’s a calling. Rooted in their own journeys of faith, restoration, and renewal, this farm was born from a deep desire to create a place where others can find healing, peace, and purpose. It’s the next chapter in a story that has been written long before they ever set foot on this 72-acre sanctuary.

From Brokenness to Purpose

Both having walked through seasons of hardship, loss, and deep personal growth, Daron and Alisa know firsthand the power of redemption, restoration, and new beginnings. Before they met, they had each experienced life’s highest joys and deepest sorrows. From marriage and family to heartache and loss. But through it all, they discovered a truth: healing happens in places of peace, and growth flourishes in spaces of intentionality.

When Daron lost his younger son in a tragic accident, the image of a redbird became a powerful symbol of hope, love, and the connection between heaven and earth. Inspired by this, he founded Redbird Properties, LLC, with a mission to provide restoration through home renovations, often offering discounts or even free work to those in need.

When he and Alisa married, their shared passion for serving others, creating intentional spaces, and offering refuge to those who needed it most naturally led them to a dream bigger than either of them had imagined.

Finding Home at Redbird Ridge

Daron and Alisa searched for a while before finding the right place, one that would embody their vision of faith, healing, and hospitality. They passed on many properties, waiting for the right land, the right space, and the right purpose.

And then, they found Redbird Ridge Estate.

Situated at the base of Barrett’s Mountain, this land carries a deep history of healing dating back to 1857, when the mineral-rich waters of Ellendale drew visitors seeking restoration. It was the perfect place to cultivate not just crops, but souls.

Redbird Ridge Estate is where their passion meets purpose; a place designed not only to grow food, but to grow people. Daron and Alisa, along side their incredible team, host weddings, retreats, events, and simple moments of rest. Their dream is to provide an atmosphere where hearts can heal, lives can be refreshed, and people can reconnect with what truly matters.
